StayScreen is a product of LeftBrainLogic, LLC (“LeftBrainLogic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a limited liability company registered in the United States. We operate the StayScreen platform, which provides software and hardware to vacation rental property operators (“hosts”) and displays information to their guests.

Information we collect

From hosts (account holders)

When a host creates a StayScreen account or purchases a tablet package, we collect:

• Business name, contact name, email address, and phone number
• Verification status and text-message consent records, including consent text, timestamp, IP address, and browser user agent
• Billing and payment information (processed by our payment processor; we do not store raw card data)
• Property addresses associated with the account
• Content you enter into the platform (house rules, Wi-Fi credentials, local recommendations, checkout instructions)
• Account activity logs, session data, and usage analytics

From guests (end users of the tablet)

The StayScreen tablet is a display device operated by the host. Guests interact with the tablet but do not create accounts. We may collect:

• Anonymous interaction events (which screen sections are viewed, how long the device is active) to improve the host experience
• IP address and device identifiers for security and abuse prevention
• No guest name, email, payment data, or personally identifying information is collected through the tablet unless the host explicitly adds a form to their property configuration

Automatically collected data

When you visit our marketing website or use the admin dashboard, we automatically collect standard web analytics data: pages visited, referrer, browser type, operating system, approximate geographic location derived from IP address, and session duration. This data is used in aggregate and is not linked to individuals without their consent.

How we use information

• Service delivery: To provision and operate the StayScreen tablet and admin dashboard for your properties.
• Billing and account management: To process payments, send receipts, and manage renewals.
• Support: To respond to questions, troubleshoot issues, and improve the product based on your feedback.
• Product improvement: To analyze usage patterns in aggregate and make the platform better. We do not sell individual-level data.
• Legal compliance: To meet our obligations under applicable law, including responding to lawful requests from authorities.
• Communications: To send transactional emails and text messages, including receipts, renewal reminders, security alerts, login codes, password reset codes, and account verification codes. We may also send product update emails; you can opt out of marketing email at any time.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: We use third-party vendors (payment processors, hosting providers, email delivery services, analytics platforms) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality agreements.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of users or the public.
• Business transfers: If LeftBrainLogic, LLC is acquired or merged, information held by the company may transfer to the successor entity. We will notify affected account holders before any such transfer.

Data retention

We retain host account data for as long as the account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal and business purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting [email protected]. Anonymous aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

Your rights

Children’s privacy

StayScreen is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage for sensitive data, and access controls. No system is completely secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account and contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify account holders by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of StayScreen after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
